Treasures in the washing your clothes

I remember watching a Taiwanese drama series where in the mother was washing her daughter's clothes after she came home from a long hard day's work. The other daughther (who she thought was a total stranger - long story, ask me next time) asked the mom why she loved washing the clothes at night. The mom answered, because I can find treasures in them. Then the daughter asked, what do you mean treasures? The mom answered, "Sometimes, I can find a few coins here and there. Sometimes, a few bills. Sometimes notes from lovers or angry notes that are being passed around in school. Through washing the clothes, I can also know how my daughter's day went, even if she does not tell me. I can see tears here and there, or some buttons missing, and I would know that she had a fight. Sometimes, I would also see stains, and I would know where she went and what she ate that day. Its these simple things that I find that I treasure the most. This is the only time that I can be with my daughter all through out the day. I'm always with her, and she with me."

My point in this, is that I found some treasures while I washed my clothes today. This morning, when I did the first round of laundry, I found a 5 yuan bill. Tonight, a few minutes ago, I found a 20 yuan bill. I didn't know that I had all that treasure in just by washing my laundry. hehehe I just have to tape up the 20 yuan bill because it was torn into 3 pcs. hahaha

I also remembered that it was the only reason or motivation that made me wash the clothes when I was in Manila. You'll never know how much treasure you can find in 5 people's clothings. My dad's pockets will always have some coins in it. My pockets will have bills (small ones though). My mom's would be larger bills.

I once found a 500 peso bill floating in the washer. hehehe Later, I realized, that was the money I thought I lost when I was paying for dinner the night before. HAHAHA
